Peter has been looking after my Dad for a couple of years now. My Dad has Parkinson's. Peter's care & attention towards my Dad has been excellent. Peter's sessions has benefited my Dad's mobility greatly & we would highly recommend Peter. Also, it was wonderful that Peter did house-visits too!
Peter started working with my mum a few months ago. She is a 92 year old lady who lives in a nursing home and suffers with dementia. Following a fall and fractured hip she could no longer walk (previously independent). Thanks to Peters unique understanding of frail elderly people and his unremitting patience my mum is now walking independently with a 4 wheeled rollator. This is so wonderful for us as we can now take her out. After the fall and fracture we thought she might lose all the quality of her life but now we look forward again. I would highly recommend Peter
Peter is a fantastic physiotherapist. His simple but effective exercises restored my mobility and confidence. I’m grateful to Peter for getting me moving again and would highly recommend his service
I want to thank Peter for all his care and attention with my recovery. Peter started to work with me after I had a serious relapse from Multiple Sclerosis which left me in a wheelchair and had lost all confidence on a recovery. Peter started to work with me using a personalised exercise program he had created to suit me. Along with Peters’ encouragement and Physiotherapy program I was able after time to walk again using a stick. I would highly recommend Peter for his professionalism, encouragement and ability to create individual exercise programs to suit each person he treats.
Peter was a great help after my recent knee replacement. I found him to be very patient and thorough in helping me with my recovery. Really appreciated the home visits and would highly recommend Peter for any physio needs.
Peters’ enthusiasm inspires an optimistic outlook that one will improve. He encourages with an interested, caring approach.
I’m delighted with the physiotherapy Peter is giving to both my husband and also to me with my knee. It is so convenient Peter coming to visit us at home...so we don’t have to battle steps or finding a place to park. Peter is very nice and so pleasant but he’s also really good and thorough. Peter also listens to me and he is very patient with my husband. We’d highly recommend using Peter’s physiotherapy services.
“Peter has been working with my sister who has an intellectual disability for a few years. She herself is delighted with the progress she has made and looks forward to the monthly session.”
Peter has been attending my mother on a weekly basis for the last few months. It has without doubt added to her quality of life. Before Peter attended my mother she was being hoisted in and out of bed, she now transfers with mainly one person. He has given her purpose and the ability to improve little by little each week. His patience and understanding of her condition has allowed her to improve at her pace. I could not recommend Peter highly enough.
We have known Peter Ward as a physio for the last year or so. He is very dependable, pleasant and easy to work with.
Requiring physiotherapy in old age can go hand in hand with major life changes. The advantage of home physiotherapy is that I (as a very independent person who had lost my independence) was able to talk to Peter and he listened. Based on that a programme suited to my age, home conditions, injury and mental state was the solution to gaining the maximum from my disability. I can never repay my gratitude for that. Even my consultant remarked on my progress and said he hoped I thanked the physiotherapist!!
Peter treated my husband with the greatest respect and kindness. My husband has Parkinsons but injured his Achilles and was in a boot for 14 weeks. He is now walking unaided and thanks to Peters physiotherapy sessions his movement and gait are exceptionally improved.
We’re very happy with the great exercise programme we got from Philip. Michael has greatly improved with general mobility and his confidence has grown with each visit. Philip has shown great understanding of, and patience with, an older person living with dementia. Having the physio in the home has proved really successful.
Peter has been coming to Howth Hill Lodge Nursing Home on a regular basis to assess, assist & provide physiotherapy sessions for some of our residents. He is always professional, friendly & achieves great results. He is extremely patient & understanding of our residents needs & I have no hesitation in recommending his services.
I am very happy to have this opportunity to a recommend a physiotherapist who will work in the home and provide excellent sessions tailored to need. He is very professional, punctual and courteous.
Peter has been attending my mother on a weekly basis for almost a year. Thanks to his motivation and her determination, she is despite the odds maintaining a good level of mobility. Peter knows his stuff and they work well together. I have no hesitation in recommending him.
Peter Ward, Physiotherapist, helped my wife back to confident mobility following a severe illness which affected her balance and walking. Peter visited us to evaluate thoroughly my wife's history and current status. He helped her with exercises and set her a detailed programme which was instrumental in restoring her to near normal mobility within weeks. Peter's expertise inspired confidence in undertaking the exercises. I can recommend his help to any patient needing physiotherapy.
Peter got me mobile quickly after a knee replacement. He is reliable and very easy to work with. Recommended.
Peter came to my house after I was discharged from hospital after falling and breaking my hip. It was ideal for him to come to my house because at the time I had great difficulty in walking due to pain. He was very diligent and supportive and with his help I really improved.
By the time I had finished my course of physiotherapy I was walking unaided, driving and I was able to get out to bridge and meet friends in town without any assistance. Peter's input really allowed me to get my life back to normal.
I would like to express my sincere thanks to all at PW Physiotherapy, in particular Phil, who treated my mother after a recent fall. He was extremely professional while being very observant of my mothers individual needs, as my Mum says “he didn’t treat me like an old person “. This meant a lot to her and I can definitely say that Phil was a huge help on her road to recovery. Thanks again.
My Mam, Mary, found your Services to be of very high standard, extremely professional with a kind, warm and caring Physiotherapist called Phil.
Phil really helped Mam to get back on her feet again after breaking her hip. He gave her daily exercises, which to this day she still insists on doing. Phil was very patient and helped gain her confidence again. We cannot thank you enough.
